How is the Ikigai score calculated?

Each pillar is the average of two of your four dimension scores (Love, Skill, World Need, Paid). The overall Ikigai score is the average of all four. For Explorer and Beginner experience levels, the Skill score is adjusted by 0.85 to account for the tendency to over-estimate skills at early stages — giving you a more realistic result.

Can I retake the Ikigai test or change my answers?

Yes. Your progress is saved in your browser so you can refresh without losing work. To start fresh, return to the home page — this resets your session automatically.

How long are shared Ikigai results available?

Shared result links are stored for 30 days. After that, they are automatically deleted from our database and the link will no longer load.
